Dig “IT” Up!

The excitement we get when the Lord reveals something to us or gives us a Word. How fast we receive the word! But the question is, do we continue to stand and believe even as time continues to pass by? Or do we begin to question God, become offended during the wait, and bury the very word that He said would come to pass in our lives?

Consider the following passage of Scripture:

“Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.
But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.”
—Matthew 13:18, 20-22 KJV

In the parable of the sower, we know that Jesus is the sower and the seed is the Word of God. If God is not a man that He should lie, why do we question God when He reveals something to us? Better yet, why do we doubt? I can picture Jesus saying, “O you of little faith? Why did you doubt?”

You don’t need to question God but you have to understand there is a time and season for everything. Keep your eyes focused on the Father and know that in due time, He will bring those things to pass in your life.

We have surrendered our lives to Christ, in doing so we have stated, “Not my will be done but Yours. I trust you with EVERY area of my life. Not just certain ones but ALL!” So rest in the fact that God’s Word will not return unto Him void. He is faithful. He will do what He said He would do!

What Word(s) have you buried because you doubted that God is able to move on your behalf? I dare you to repent, dig them up, and believe again! Don’t allow the enemy ground and possession over your seed! God’s Word WILL produce a harvest in your life, if only you will continue to believe. Don’t give in to the devices of Satan! Stand on the word of God! Go back and dig up the Word you “thought” God wasn’t going to bring to fruition in your life. With the same excitement you received it, have that level of excitement until it manifests in your life.

“But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”
—Matthew 13:23 KJV
