We are all running our own race! Although we are destined for the finish line, we all face certain things that can distract us and potentially hinder our arrival.
When in a race, you don’t just get out there and start running. You train, you prepare for it. And in this life, we have to do the same. In order to get to the finish line, we have to exercise our spiritual muscles so that we can be discerning of the enemy’s tactics. Not only that, we have to utilize the Word of God to help build us up as we run! So each day, we should be in training mode, strengthening any areas that seem weak. There will be times when we seek counsel from our coach/coaches (spiritual leaders) and it’s perfectly fine! You need people who will not only help you to identify your areas of weakness but who will encourage you to train harder and keep running toward the mark!
Sometimes our own desires temporarily pull us out of the race. This is not the time to throw a pity party and stay out of the race. 😩 If you don’t get back in, how will you make it to the finish line? 🏁 You won’t.
Today I want to encourage you to continue to press forward. Run toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Don’t let any weight, sin, worldly cares weigh you down and keep you from getting to the finish line. At the finish line you will be rewarded for the race you ran! Don’t give up! Get back in the race and RUN like you’ve never ran before!! 🏃🏽♀️ 🏃🏽♂️
